Our space is as friendly to its environment as it is to its guests. Throughout all the renovation and restoration projects, every effort has been made to address our impact on the landscape and to support local producers and brands wherever possible.

About the owner
With a home-away-from-home feel and Afro-Scandi design, our Collection offers the perfect hideaways lovingly created by Swedish interior designer and South African National Tour Guide, Jonas Sandström.
Our Ethos
Gonana means to ‘embrace’ in isiZulu, and embracing our surroundings is what we’ve done. Supporting local artisans and small businesses while encouraging our guests to do the same. Come and embrace the slow life at our Collection.

"Spent time at this beautiful villa filled with character, loved every room and corner of the house. Celebrated my birthday at this house and it was truly memorable. Best part is the beach is a walk away and also enjoyed the pool. The kids enjoyed a lot as well. "
