Our space is as friendly to its environment as it is to its guests. Throughout all the renovation and restoration projects, every effort has been made to address our impact on the landscape and to support local producers and brands wherever possible.

About the owner
With a home-away-from-home feel and Afro-Scandi design, our Collection offers the perfect hideaways lovingly created by Swedish interior designer and South African National Tour Guide, Jonas Sandström.
Our Ethos
Gonana means to ‘embrace’ in isiZulu, and embracing our surroundings is what we’ve done. Supporting local artisans and small businesses while encouraging our guests to do the same. Come and embrace the slow life at our Collection.

" Its a calming atmosphere"
The rooms are so beautiful.It is a calming atmosphere.The garden is well manicured and the bird life is awesome.The staff was so friendly and helpful. We arrived late Sunday night and the night manager helped us to settle in.You can order breakfast from the main Guesthouse. You can get a yoga session in the comfort of the garden or on the beach.
